At 1pm Thursday 18/11/2010, Stone Circle performed an impromptu concert in front of MIX 94.5 studios, Roberts Road, Subiaco.

Performing on the back of a truck, Stone Circle played three tracks from their new album ‘Living for the Sunshine’ including ‘Lost’, the track they have submitted radio station’s ‘Living on a Prayer’ Bon Jovi Support competition.

MIX 94.5 staff, local workers and traffic were caught by surprise as Stone Circle raised the ante in their bid to secure the much coveted Bon Jovi support slot offered by MIX 94.5.

Some of WA’s hottest bands are taking part in Music Feedback, a new youth mental health project.

Music Feedback was developed by the Department of Health’s Mental Health Division in partnership with the WA Music Industry Association. It includes a documentary and songs featured on 20,000 CD/DVDs, an interactive website (www.musicfeedback.com.au) and MySpace, YouTube and Facebook pages. Acts include The Panics, Gyroscope, Birds of Tokyo, End of Fashion, The Kill Devils Hills, The Yabu Band, Abbe May, Boys Boys Boys, Roly Skender, Sugar Army and Felicity Groom.

Among the big names, Stone Circle is launched this amazing project Thursday, 3 September 2009 at the Hyde Park Hotel. Fundraising from the gig will assist young Western Australians with a mental illness and their carers to attend The Mental Health Services (TheMHS) Conference in Sydney next year.

Massive thanks to all those that rocked out and got involved for a good cause.

Stone Circle sign management deal

by admin on Apr.09, 2009, under News

After a cracking whirlwind tour of Melbourne in March showcasing their wares to various management companies and record labels, WA based Stone Circle has agreed to a 5year worldwide management deal with Big Rock Productions.

Run by music industry veteran Jack Strom (Vanessa Amorosi, Elicit Eve), the band is now in steady hands with the momentum moving ever forward. After receiving a pre-release copy of Stone Circle’s debut album 385 Newcastle Street, Big Rock asked to see the band live … in Melbourne. A swift run of dates was lined up by Stone Circle including 2 nights at the Velvet Underground Bar in Melbourne’s CBD. The first night was a huge success only to be over shadowed by the following nights’ performance which was absolutely smokin’. After that the meetings were a formality with the inevitable contract negotiations and a new partnership was born. Stone Circle and Big Rock Productions.

We look forward to working closely with our new management team over the coming years on both a national and international level.
